Many people get scared when they think about Multisite. It is quite a misunderstood feature for WordPress. That’s right, it IS a feature. It’s a very powerful feature that can be used to run entire university networks, and even the New York Times. It can also be leveraged with some plugins to create your own website subscription service, like Squarespace or Wix, but built entirely on WordPress, with themes and plugins that you approve of!
