If you wanted to be a speaker, missed the opportunity to submit your talk & still have something to say, we have the perfect opportunity for you to get your message across in a quick but helpful way at this inaugural WordCamp Riverside.\u00a0 \u00a0What I am referring to is our Lightning talk Sessions.\u00a0 During our Lightning sessions six presenters from the audience will have the opportunity to present a short talk to the WordCamp Attendees.<\/p>\n
Lightning Talks Defined<\/strong><\/p>\n Our Lightning talk speakers\u00a0 will each have 8 minutes to give their talks (4 minute talk + 4 minute Q& A) on a topic of their choosing that is relevant to the conference audience.<\/p>\n How will the process work?<\/strong><\/p>\n 1.)\u00a0 You will have the opportunity sign up for a Lightning Talk by adding your name on a sheet of paper we provide in the morning.\u00a0 Add your name & topic. Lightning talks can be rehearsed and delivered with slides, or they can be completely freestyle and spontaneous. 2.)\u00a0 Our organizing team will pick six talks to be delivered in the afternoon during the time of the talks.
